Northeast Baptist Church began in Janury, 1960 with 19 people in attendance and now has grown to average 400 in Sunday School. From those humble beginnings of meeting in a borrowed building at Woodlands School the church now has buildings and facilities valued at over $5 million. What has been the key ingredient of its growth? From its inception the church has always believed that "God can do anything but fail." By faith its members have trusted God to lead, guide, and provide for us every step of the way. We believe that when we join God in His work, we can not fail because God can not fail. To Him we give all the glory and praise!

But along with the Word, grace, and Spirit of God there are also spiritual works that we believe are imperative among us. These works enhance the sense of community, and they prompt each of us to a more committed walk with Christ. As such, we give ourselves to the work of building one another up in the spirit of unity. We encourage one another to use our spiritual gifts in service to the body of Christ. We challenge one another to spiritual growth in Christ – adding to our faith goodness and knowledge, self control and patience, godliness and brotherly kindness, and unconditional love and acceptance. We seek out and explore opportunities to make a real difference in our community and to impact lives for the cause of Christ.
We believe that every individual ministry in the church should enhance the whole. We embrace ministry as the joyful giving of ourselves in service to Christ. We minister, not merely as men and women with a program and a method, but as men and women with a divine enabling and a heavenly calling. Our ministry is about bringing the members of our community into a growing, spiritual relationship with Jesus Christ. Perhaps you would like more information about our church.
